I know I use this site as a place to complain when my other — my “real” site is down, but…it’s always down. Or at least a couple times a week, which is a couple times too many.
Is that normal? I mean, I pay for my other site. I’ve had better luck with the free one. I don’t know what I’m going to do, but when my contract is up in October, I don’t think I’ll be renewing it. I don’t even know if I want the other site anymore. FDC has become more a hassle than a fun, creative outlet.

I wouldn’t put up with a paid host that has a lot of downtime. There are free hosts and paid ones that good records on uptime – the differences tend to be in things like bandwidth and extras. I haven’t heard many complaints about wordpress.com. And of course I hope FDC doesn’t disappear…
